Inheritance
[edit]Yes, i was wondering if any knew if a living heir died and they had a child, was the other spouse intitled too put claim too said property. The child is now an adult.Spooked55 15:29, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- I am not certain about the situation that you describe here, but the answer about who inherits (or most probably inherits) depends on several factors that may or may not be in play. Some of these might be: house rules of succession, outstanding letters patent, entailments, an outstanding will, among possible other things. There is not really a single rule that governs exactly how the property of the deceased -- including any titles that he may have had -- is inherited by successors. --L.Smithfield (talk) 01:29, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
